Experimental and Computational Solid Mechanics Laboratory (ECSML)

Overview

The ECSML is part of the Faculty of Automotive, Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, under the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The lab is led by Prof. PhD Habil. Mircea Cristian Dudescu.

• Experimental stress and deformation analysis (Strain Gauge, DIC, Moiré, Photoelasticity, ESPI)
• Thermo-mechanical simulation using ANSYS Workbench
• 3D metrology with GOM Atos Core and GOM Inspect
